NU meetings with ETSAB, Barcelona - October 15th – 19st 2018

  • The meeting between the Technical Coordinator (NU) and ETSAB in Barcelona achieved fundamental developments in WP4 and WP5 (17 courses in total) building upon the outputs of the ALL-partner meeting held in Cairo in September 2018 and internalizing the people-centred, integrated approach of IMPAQT. Many steps evolved during this visit regarding course specification and course material development; this occurred through a series of small group working sessions with faculty members from ETSAB who are involved in IMPAQT, as well as through interaction in various design and urban design studios with students and staff, and accompanied city study tours. Other issues were also discussed and these include: the logistics of course development during the following months; the VR Lab applications and 3D scan potential contributions to the program; the ToT (WP13) and Implementation (WP15) of the IMPAQT outputs; and lastly the preparations for the coming ALL-partner meeting in Barcelona (April 2019). Dissemination for IMPAQT was carried out through a public lecture to graduate students and a presentation to faculty members.
